Hi all, I recently upped my data on my SGSII to the LTE 1Gb plan, but for peace of mind, I'm hoping Rogers offers the 6Gb plan again soon. How do I know when it's offered? Keep checking the Rogers RedBoard, or is there an RSS feed or something? Thanks for the help.

Check out blogs like Mobilesyrup. They're usually the first to report any new plans that any Canadian wireless company launches. Rogers usually does not advertise promos such as the 6GB on their websit.
Okay, thanks all.
Oct when the iPhone is released.

You can bet that it will be available on the next iPhone release, like what they've been doing since it first came out. Not sure when the next iPhone release will be though.. It's stupid how they come out with a kick-*** phone on LTE (like the GS3) without offering 6gb, but when an iPhone comes out, 6gb is offered.![]()
5GB is available right now with Telus. I don't see anything similar on Bell or Rogers. Are you in a Wind area? The best part about this 5GB plan, is leaving Rogers.
That's what I thought until I tried telus. On telus I always get 8-9 mbps download speeds, on Rogers I never get more than 2 and I am in Alberta as well. Only one advantage of being with Rogers was cheap retention plans and that seems to be a thing of past. Only bad thing about telus was $720+ cancellation, now their cancellation fee is very reasonable. So if you haven't tried telus, I would suggest get a telus iPad sim with a flex plan and use ISP.telus apn.

TELUS
Is that right? I assumed it was everywhere, anyway it is here in Manitoba.
I have exactly the same experience. 2 or less (in some areas basically nothing) with Rogers, and great speeds with Telus. I think Rogers just doesn't care about its 3G network anymore and is not maintaining or upgrading it anymore.
Apparently the 6 gig plan is now back: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/smoki...-back-1195544/
Who knows? Rogers moves in mysterious ways...
