Hi. My Samsung "Evergreen" recently died (I think it has to do with the keyboard slider -- not sure). I'm looking for a quick replacement phone and saw a Samsung C414 on sale at the local grocery store. Since it's being sold as a "Telus" phone, can I just purchase it, insert my Telus SIM card and presume that I'm good to go? Or, do I need to contact Telus first?
Telus Nokia C3-01 is clearance @ Walmart about $49. It has way better features than C414.
This phone (c414) is horrible...
not to mention the call quality on 3G is a joke... I unlocked it and running on 2G is fine... but man 3G cuts out like cheap VOIP.. no joke
oh and I paid $0 for the prepaid bundle at Telus store.. deal is over though. yes $0 on a trade in
Thanks for all of the replies. I'll check out Wal-mart tomorrow to see if the local place has anything to offer.
Went with the Nokia C3-01 at Wal-Mart. Lots of neat little features for an inexpensive phone. Let's hope it lasts longer than the Evergreen.
