Howard, when do you expect to complete the quad-core vs. dual core piece?
Waiting for the blue quad-core. Will be interested to see the difference in performance.

Just posted a section comparing the dual and quad core S III's.

Don't know is this site is legit (it just started popping up near top of results) or useful but this discusses probs with blue if relevant to anyone.

So, Howard, what do you think of appearance? Have you seen the white?
I wouldn't buy a white phone but these gorgeous pics are calling me. Do these pics do the phone justice? Which looks better, pics or real phone? How do you like that tap/water drop/unlock? So cool.
Apparently, your back doesn't match this one. Shame.

I would love to get the white but I am scared that after a few months of use and occasional dirty hands, that the phone might become yellowish/browning. I see Howard has it on Telus, that is going to be me real soon!

so good......................
Thanks for the reply!
But there is some small method to my madness. Those early detailed specs listed "polyphonic" ringtones only. Then the review Howard (?) linked to said a little more than necessary about -- well everything, really -- but he singled out the ringtones for superfluous praise. Add to that the gradual demise of SD storage which is clearly linked to media issues and the diminishing Android support, again linked to media... a pattern emerges.
I did see on another forum an oblique reference to some kind of expected file naming change re ringers on the SGSIII. But it wasn't explicit enough to say if was good news or bad.
You are correct that there's probably no real cause for concern, but my excess of caution is still not wholly baseless. I'd really like to see sometimg concrete, like a user's guide manual maybe, or ...
If somebody who has an S3 -- any model -- would just try to load, assign, and play a homemade mp3 ringer, that would be just super.

Howard, here is my question. How does it compare to the regular razr as far as battery life with high usage on the lte model.
