If I put my GoPhone SIM in an AT&T phone?

if i buy a no commitment priced smasung focus and put my gophone sim in it can i use my 25$ a month plan for talk and text?

Yep. Will work just fine. You won't have to have a data plan either. You can use WiFi for your data needs.

Yeah, it won't work for data (unless on Wi-Fi), but they will not automatically add a data plan to your GoPhone account.

It'll work. I have a Nokia N9 with a GoPhone sim. 10 cents a minute.

No data plan either. Go into the network settings and change the WAP settings or the network settings and change the ATT settings with junk numbers so it can't log into the servers if you accidentally try to use data with ATT. I still use WIFI on the device.

Data connections are blocked on GoPhone accounts for smartphones without data packages. Only MMS works.

Yeah and even for mms, at least for my iPhone, I had to change my apn to get mms to work

Is there still a 6-month time period that you have to have a GoPhone SIM card active for before you can put it in a non-GoPhone? I had one that I even cancelled a few months ago but I recently threw it out and now I want to use the $25 GoPhone plan on an HTC Inspire.

Go to the ATT store and request a sim with either the $25/month plan or the $50 plan. I just activated 2 GoPhones one Motorola Z9, and the other blackberry bold 9650, and had no issues. I also moved the Z9 sim to a ebay rugby with no issues.
