Seriously, to those in the know, what the heck happened to the 9350???? I mean we're on OS 5.0 and OS 10.0 phones will be released this fall.

Sorry buddy but metro is not going to be releasing the blackberry 9350
Reason why is beacuse they wanted to release this phone with lte and it just want working the phone actually did release but it had so many defects that metro decided to abandon it and go forward with other devices such as Huawei products yea blame metro for not taking out the new bb 9350

You mean on Metro I guess. Because as long as business keep doing business BB aint going nowhere. No corporation will ever trust its secure email to Android or iPhone

...and the corporate world. Nobody in the corporate world has an Android or iPhone. You cant type a 4 to 6 paragraph letter on a plane ride on a virtual keyboard. Its the reason that the POTUS rocks one and I wouldnt doubt if the CEO of Metro uses one. I doubt BB10 is the game changer that puts them in first place but it will help if it resolves some of the issues crackberry power users complain about. But the BB is a lifestyle more than just a phone. iPhone users may move to some other platform phone. BB users are BB users for life. There are enough people that will never switch to keep them going. They just need to stop trying to market it to 16 year olds.

What claims have I made that would need stats other than than corporations only using BBs? I mean, everybidy knows this right? I work for a company with 78k employees. I work in an IT department that has 2500 employees. The corporate solution is BB. There have been two pilot projects to introduce the iPhone and both failed miserably. Managers and Directors and VPs wanted their BBs back. Everyone I know including my brothers and friends work in IT and at their companies they all use BBs. That isnt going to change. Like I said, the qwerty keyboard is perfect to do work on and nobody does security like RIM

Well I know many people who work for big corporation who have recently had their companies approve the iphone for their employees. Before they would only allow Blackberrys because of security reasons but I guess iphone and android have apps or some new security that is being released or is already available. Either way blackberry is dying fast and as soon as more companies make the switch it will be dead for good. Blackberry needs to either create a new business model or join forces with android and create an android based phone with the blackberry design and security. May be too late especially if android is creating their own business security apps.

Ok yes i see the need for corporate companies needing a qwerty phone like a blackberry but that does not change the fact that blackberry needs more users than just companies using their phones to keep their company afloat if u catch my drift.for every corporate company in the us its till isnt enough of a demand to keep blackberry pushing new products for them to make profit.Lets take your theory into consideration lets even take it further lets say 100% of all corporate companies and their employees only use black berry phones now do you think these blackberry users upgrade their current bb phone with the latest one that come out or do u think they all keep the same bb phones for a large time period? by these black berry phone users not bothering to get the new blackberry that means bb isnt make any money. only their carrier keeps making the money. so we have 2 major flaws no one wanting to upgrade every now and then and blackberry not being very popular with normal people that dont work for a corporate company. so either way we can discuss the pro and cons of the black berry all the day but the statistics and the news coverage says they are not making money and even RIM is dropping bb like its hot. so case closed im glad you favor your phone alot i know you use your phone for alot more things than the average person but the company needs more modern users than just corporate users.

Even the corporate guys are abandoning the Blackberry. All of the big wigs at my company got rid of theirs. Theres a reason the CEO of RIM jumped ship. He doesnt want to go down with it. Their days are over. They are antiquated and cant keep up with their weak OS.

I recently, had to set up an account at Morgan Stanley in order to "swim with the big fish" and while I was in that office being amazed, I saw nothing but iPhones. NOTHING...but iPhones.
