iPhone has somehow made itself the status symbol. I know some in a company who are using the iPhone, they don't care about security, they want convenience. Like the little card swiper & barcode reader. They do the whole thing right from their iPhone. But I read that the DOD won't allow iPhones, Androids or anything other than a BB for security reasons. And companies that do business overseas still need the BBM. BB still accounts for probably half the phones overseas. Well, maybe a little less than half but it's still a lot. I love my BB Bold (Non-Metro) & wish that I had more options to get that keyboard & BBM capability. There are still so many people using BB that it won't vanish completely but it may be bought out at some point, or go under and declare a bankruptcy reorganization. It can still come back. Like Baruman said they just need to realize their market & stop trying to be an iPhone or Android. Sadly, I don't see RIM marketing their strengths like security and BATTERY LIFE so while they will still be around in the fall, I agree with N4zty that they (sadly) are on their way down unless they step it up big time.

well it looks like Today Cricket wireless just released the curve 9350
for $199 and they are gonna offer a web only discount of $70 dollars so $129.
    I'm sure Metro's next.
    Now
Blackberry is def not dead BB10 is around the corner.
the demo device that was given to developers is consider a very basic
BB10 phone as RIM stated and the screen resolution is better than any phone ever built
surpassing the retina display along with 3mp front camera. Keep in mind again
    this is their basic model
BB10 will be the first ever phone considered a SuperPhone not smartphone.
its gonna have killer features like.

Well yeah this whole is iphone android battle is old.
Im just going to say apple is better for some reason
    1. There are over 50+ android devices released each year while there is only 1 ios device released.
    2. Android - quad core 1.4 Ghz
Apple - Dual core 800 Mhz

While android just releases so many devices apple just releases 1 good device

That's because apple doesn't farm out it's OS to different manufacturers. When Android is allowed to be put on other manufacturers phones, they want to add their own twist ( skin ) to it. Apple would never go for that.

There is also way more fragmentation on the android side. More phones and different manufacturers = more versions of the OS floating around out there. ICS is relatively new, but it's only on 4% of all android phones.... While I0S5 is on something like 70%

To each their own though...competition is good for consumers!

Yea android couldve gone far with ics but everybody wants to keep changing it. Its also bad that alot of android phones cant support ics. I just read today that Ios 6 will be on the old iphone 3GS. We estemm users cant even get ics smh

LOL. I hear if you use cotton twine instead of hemp you get faster data speeds.
