Discounted Sonic 4G

Hi I live in the Seattle, WA area and am wondering if anyone knows of any places to purchase a sonic 4G hotspot for less than full retail? I am not interested in the 2 year commitment.

As of Mon July 16th 2012, there's a limited time offer of $69.99 (reg $174.99) with a $25 refill card for the prepaid Sonic "4G" Mobile Hotspot at the T-Mobile online store:

Even though I'd already just ordered a $29.99 refurb'd Jet 2.0 USB stick last week, I couldn't pass up this offer. IMHO the Sonic is a more flexible and more attractive device. However it's puzzling that the Sonic's online product page lists these supported bands...

UMTS: AWS 1700/2100 (Band IV); 2100 (Band I); 850 (Band V) MHz

...while the online Tech Support page lists support for:
3G/4G: AWS 1700/2100 (Band IV); UMTS 2100 (Band I); 850 (Band V); 900 (Band VIII); PCS 1900 (Band II) MHz

Which one is correct? Shouldn't band support be uniform for postpaid and prepaid? When T-Mobile re-farms its spectrum, then wouldn't support for PCS 1900 denote capability for HSPA+ while AWS 1700/2100 gets re-farmed to LTE?
