    Wake up!

I do not know how about you, but for how long I can rememmber I have this huge problem with waking up in the morning. Three alarm clocks and my mum screaming at me are ineffective (well, most of the time ^^"""). I just turn on the other side, cover up with blanket and go back to sleep.

Anyone has any better ideas then an alarm clock I can just turn off? ^^"""""

I used to have that problem when I was younger. I still hit the snooze button for 45 minutes before getting up, but I no longer need 4 alarm clocks (1 on each wall) to get me out of bed. I sleep with the blinds open which helps a bit when it starts to get brighter in the morning.

Do you put any of the alarm clocks in a location where you're forced to get out of bed to turn it off?

I used to deliver newspapers M-F mornings. Talk about a challenge, waking up at 3AM to pick the papers up at ~4. 3 alarm clocks plus an automated wakeup call did it for me! Then I started working 50+ hours a week at my real job (CSR) that lasted until the middle of March, when I tried to multitask and catch some Zzz’s while on the road……

BANG! Woke up on the side of the road after T-boning a few trees. Broken leg, broken/dislocated hip/ broken foot. My pops van = totaled. I ended up spending 10 days in Atlanta at the hood hospital. I was in a wheelchair until a few weeks ago, but I still have to walk with a walker until next month

I did tried that but for some reason I just don't here it then... Sometimes my sister does and she wakes me up but most of the time she is out before my alarm clock rings ^^""

maybe it's because you're too tired and your body just wants to rest. i experience that everytime i'm so tired and if i haven't slept for how many days.

    Hey!

I have the same problem... I can't wake up in the morning. I always turn off the alarm and go back to sleep! I heard about some app for Android that can make u get out of bed to turn off the alarm Well, I don't remember the name and don't even know if it is for iOS too, but if you know something just let me know!

And tylerhughes I am really sorry for you... I hope that you will be just fine. Please take care of yourself!

This is a reason I have so many phones. 4-5 phones there is a custom ringtone that helps wake me up. Some times a very basic phone might have a great alarm. My all time back up is called a sonic bomb jr. It was about 40 bux and comes with A vibrating mechanism with a 6-7 ft Cord you put under your mattress. It is super loud and it vibrates the whole bed. So after this plus 4 phones. I am usually up.
trying to come up with better signature.......

For Tyler if it will make you feel any better the inner city hospitals are best for traumas Grady does have a national reputation for that. For routine things the country hospital is fine but for a major trauma I would trust Grady. Or a big university center with a working heliport. And a level 1 trauma center. With resources to specialties. Make sure you get enough sleep before driving.

Oh no doubt. They told me there was only 4 doctors in the southeast who could fix my hip so I could walk again...and 2 were at Grady. So off to Grady we went!

I always try to keep my alarm out of reach, so then I have to get up in order to turn it off. By the time I stand up and turn it off, my senses awaken and I realize that I have to wake up and start my day. Try going to sleep an hour or more earlier, maybe you aren't resting enough. If you can, try to squeeze in a 25 minute nap during the day to help you out a bit too.

Lol! I read this post and thought of my wife...
If anyone remembers the game Perfection, there is a similar alarm out there that would probably wake anyone up.
Apparently it has puzzle pieces on the top that pop out when the alarm goes off and you have to put them back in the right place in order to shut the alarm off. Might work.

tylerhughes, I'm glad that you found the help you need

Back to clock alarm, keeping it out of reach does not work for me, because then I don't hear it... usually the vibration wakes me up because it shakes my pillow But when the phone is close at hand then I easly turn it off and go back to sleep... -_-'

I think I need an app that will make me get out of bed! :P
