It certainly is expensive and the reason many go the postpaid route.
Standard phone warranty programs don't apply either, you would need to get Apple Care.
My Sprint bill was 80 a month, this would be 55 since I need unlimited.
25 per month savings is 600 over 2 years minus the difference of 300.00 for the postpaid phone.
So for 300.00 more over 2 years you get unlimited data, roaming and CS agents that English is their primary language.
Of course there is the contract issue for some but I don't know if 12.50 a month is a huge differentiator.
