I can see it now: Siri, where is the nearest restaurant? I’m sorry, I can’t connect to the network right now, please retry.
Apple = poop But all the sheep will line up.
I feel like the price will be still pretty low, around 350$ for the iPhone 4 and 450$ for the 4S. Still if you think about it this is an amazing deal. IMO if Virgins keeps prices the same, allows no charge roaming, and offers it at a fair price people will line up. I mean even if the speed are terrible most people have wifi near by ad as long as voice coverage is okay im fine, because its 35$ vs. 90$.
I dont think this will work IMO, i dont see people shelling out $500 for a iphone, im pretty sure it will need to be on a premium plan. I mean you can get a GSM iphone and activate it on any of the prepaid gsm carriers for around $40 a month, you can pickup a iphone for around $100-300 depending what you want.
I can just imaging how much virgin will jack up the price, i was one of those dumb ones that paid $350 for the Blackberry when it came out, a few months later it was like $149.$279 for the Triumph and its buggy as crap, but for $299 you can get a 4G headset.

Lets remember there still hasn't been an official announcement on the iPhone coming to Virgin Mobile, so it's still just a rumor.
If it does come and doesn't sell like hot cakes, does it really matter? The fact that they would offer it to customers as an option is what counts. I'm sure it'll require you to go to the $35 plan, but again it's your option to choose. Since I'm already on the $35 plan (still kicking myself over porting my $25 plan to TMO - just couldn't take the piss poor 3G speeds on VM any longer) I may look into it, assuming I haven't gotten the EVO 4G first.
It all comes down to customer preference.. those of us that prefer Android, nothing changes. And those that want an iPhone, the choice is finally there. In the end, everyone wins.

I hope they offer access to all the iPhone 4s versions, not just the entry level.
And yes, I'm in for the iPhone 4s and the One V if they launch it anytime within the next 90 days.![]()

Mod edit: Original posts regarding possible Virgin Mobile iPhone merged. This is just the same as the Boost Mobile thread, this is also in hopes to avoid any iPhone vs android banter. The prospect of more choices for consumers is positive news for us, there's no reason to turn negative about this.
Corrupt81 and vmobi are in the exact mindset as I am.
when(if) this becomes available I WILL own one.
that's at least my demographic being satisfied.
CDMA version of iPhone Coming - Hope for VZW!
