    Installing HyperSIM

I just picked up a 007SH and a HyperSIM and found that the SIM card with HyperSIM was too thick to fit in the SIM card slot, so I ended up having to shave the backside of the SIM card to make it thinner so the SIM card with HyperSIM would fit. This method seemed a bit unusual, so I was wondering how others were installing both the SIM card with HyperSIM in their phones? Thanks in advance.

What kind of hypersim is it? I've never heard of a thick hypersim before ^__^

I just cut my sim card to fit the hypersim over it

Yes, that's right. The SIM slot on the 007SH and the 005SH and other SoftBanks is too narrow to accommodate the 1-mm thicker SIM + Hypersim so you need to thin the SIM. I used sandpaper for my 005SH.

Also make sure you have a way to pull it out - the increased thickness, even after thinning, will make this (very) difficult. My way was to leave a bit of adhesive tape sticking out to pull it by using a pair of tweezers.

The old days I just drilled a tiny hole into my SIM and tied a string or fishing line to it. That way i can pull the sim out with string.

    It's all good (^_^)

    I just use this:

to put and pull out the SIM + Hypersim. Just gotta be careful not to touch the hypersim's microchip.

Anyways, a user has just discovered that in another forum someone posted a FULL ROOT + Unlock of the 007SH with download links to the files needed and instructions. The bad thing: instructions are in chinese xD ... and google isn't a great translator.

Just remove the SIM tray altogether. The 007SH's sim slot is basically designed for just the SIM- getting even a slim hypersim in is tricky.

The additional thickness of the hypersim makes the phone's SIM contacts come into contact with your SIM card. Use a bit of tape to stick it all together and leave a bit at the end so you can pull it out.

What I do, is I attach a long piece of Scotch tape to my SIM so I just pull it out using that.
