I have rooted my older Sprint HTC Evo about 2 years ago and have used it as a hotspot successfully for a great while now. I just recently noticed that the app to make my phone a free wifi hotspot is not working. It will broadcast a wifi connection, and I can pull it up and connect to it but when I connect to it I will not have internet. I've tried a few other apps and some are for pay and others just don't work. What do I need to do to be able to get it to work as a WiFi Hotspot again for free?

The app I'm currently using and have been using previously with success is just called "Wireless Tether".
