    Just thought of a question:

I have a line with Mobilicity on BTS plan. If i get another line on S3 with Mobilicity, can I switch the BTS plan onto the S3 phone? So my S3 has the BTS and my other phone has else?

Basically, is my BTS plan tied to the phone and/or the phone#? Can I change the phone and/or the phone# without affecting the BTS plan?

It's your SIM. Just swap it. As long as you keep both lines they don't care which device you use. Your SIM is your line.

Thanks. That would make a perfect choice for me.

Got that E-Mail and someone did call me, but when I tried to call back I got WIND's "Sorry, the person you're calling is busy at the moment...."

    Called them back later ...
    He said (And I'm paraphrasing)
"It's a six-hundred dollar phone plus tax, and you have to pay the activation fee and first month to get the hundred dollar credit. Do you still want it?"

    Not really...
    Nevermind Bell.. LTE is fine.

Called back just to clarify (he wasn't happy to hear me the third time), he said the minimum price plan is $35. But then went on to say buying the phone with the $45 plan comes out to $730 taxes in.

Guess they don't (?) charge activation fees anymore..

If this latest rendition is accurate, Mobi will be pricing the GS3 at $650.
In the AWS/cellular context, TAFL is Industry Canada's list of all base stations in operation, as submitted by the spectrum licensee the month prior.

The underlying database is Industry Canada's Assignment and Licensing System (ALS)
A subset of the ALS is published monthly as the Technical and Administrative Frequency Lists (TAFL)
Real-time access to the AWS/cellular data of ALS is provided by Spectrum Direct's (SD) Geographical Area Search

No, at $600 + your monthly fee for new activations which is a minimum of $35 or $45 but he didn't clarify and used $45 as an example.

Let me break it down for you, Here is your receipt:

Thank You for Shopping at Mobilicity!
    Now that's smart!

    Samsung Galaxy S3 ------------------------ $600
    Monthly Plan -- Unlimited Everything ---- $ 45
    Sub total _______________________ $645
    Tax (Ontario) -----------------------------HST$ 85
    Total ========================$730

Mobi has a minimum plan requirement? It's a prepaid and not like contract/tab...right?

Sorry, I'm in Alberta, where taxes are more reasonable:

    650 + 45 = 695
    +5% = $730.

    Won't argue with $600!

I don't remember there ever being an activation fee. I do know that dealers tend to charge for the SIM card (price varies) though.
