Selling a 4G LTE phone: Do I need to call VZW to deactivate it?

Hi All,

Hopefully someone who has sold a 4G LTE phone can answer my question: I recently sold two of my 4G LTE phones on eBay. Before I ship them out, do I need to call VZW to deactivate these phones from my account? Or, can the new owners simply insert their own 4G SIM cards?

Just keep your sim cards and they will need to get their own. Other than that, you're set.
