    Does anyone know what are the steps to cancel preauthorized payment if you want to remove it from your account?

    once i get the 30 dollars; i am just gonna call in customer service and get them to cancel PAP;

    History has shown that people with PAP are unlikely to cancel a service compare to people without a PAP.

    +1.

    I never have PAP setup for any company unless its the only option or there is some bill credit advantage.

    Or, better yet, ignore the statistic, and if you're unhappy with the service, leave in the exact same manner you would have without PAP.

    I will also do the same. Wind gains nothing by offering this promotion to me so I might as well just take the free money. I've already used the same credit card previously to pay off my account so really I've lost nothing in terms of giving up personal information. In fact, I only preauthrozied a payment of $5. The way I figure it, even if it takes an hour of being a hold with customer service to remove the PAP option, I'm still ahead.

    Actually it looks like WIND will still honor the promotion for existing PAP customers as per their facebook post.

    I.e. Do they bill your card on the date the statement is issued, or on the "due date" indicated on the statement?
    For Pay After its pulled off on the due date and it's for the amount of your bill.

    Too bad I can't get PAP to work. I've tried every once in a while since I signed up and tried with multiple cards and always get the following error: Unfortunately, we couldn't make the change you requested. Go ahead and try again. Still having trouble? Give us a call at 1-877-809-4631 (1-877-80-WIND-1).

    I have a simple question...that is I think it is anyway. My bill is $25 a month and I have $25 sitting in the account. I've just set up PAP in order to get the $30. Are they going to take the $25 that's sitting in the account OR charge my card? Thanks for all your help, I no this is a simple question but I just want to make sure they don't take the money in the account and charge my charge at the sametime.
