Using HTC One X on Softbank

    Hi,

I'd like to know if anybody is using HTC One X on Softbank?
I'm planning to buy the international version and want to make sure the frequencies match and there will be no problems in connectivity.

    Thank you.

The Tegra3 One X has 2100 so it should run fine. If you're getting the LTE version (One XL) I don't think LTE will work, but 3G should still work fine.

Not sure about getting internet and such working though, not sure what the SoftBank APN is.

    Thank you very much Yamanote.
I dont intend to use 3G data and only want voice and SMS.
I couldnt find out any official page of Softbank that detailed their WCDMA network band.
    Thanks.

If you are only using voice/sms, then I assume that means you will be using a prepaid service with the phone.

There are instructions in the Android subforum of this section, about using a Desire S with a prepaid SIM.

    Thank you very much.
I am currently using a Softbank phone and want to change my phone. Since Softbank phone line up sucks I want to buy a phone and use my SIM in it (not prepaid).
I"m hoping I wouldnt have any connection problems.
