^I have a telus LTE sim as well and can tell it's version 3 and also has four zeros in the middle of the sim number.

How does your telus login show your koodo sim?

I'm not sure how it does (sorry was playing with picture sizes to try to shrink them hense my post moving below yours). Maybe it has to do with the port as of this morning, it wasn't even done an hour ago, and maybe because my iPhone was unlocked by Telus and I'm just moving that to Koodo so I just swapped the sim.

I noticed something else to support my theory this morning. I waited until today to do the number port as I wanted to wait until my EDUF dropped a bit more today. In my Telus online account it is showing my Koodo sim currently as a version 3 sim. My Koodo account makes no mention of the version number.

Also I took a couple pictures of my booklet/card to show the colours/barcode I was referencing.

EDIT: I know with Telus, they changed the booklets/cards with each version. Version one/two were white on both sides of the card, but version one had one flower on the booklet and version two had two flowers. Version 3 got rid of the flowers and they began colouring one side of the card, purple for regular sim, green for micro sim.

Is yours a regular sim? Maybe Koodo has the colours inverted similarly to how Telus uses two different colours on the two different sizes.

Cool. Mine was the opposite, orange booklet, and blue card. Don't have the booklet on me now so can't see the barcode. But the sim is blue on the contact side and on the other says Koodo Mobile along with the number. I would guess that it's not version 3 maybe? It is a micro sim being used in an iPhone 4S.

Maybe you're right and the new blue booklets/orange card are for version 3.

It'd be my best guess... assuming Koodo is following the same pattern as Telus...

Just ported from rogers this morning.

    Got a regular sim (non-micro).

It came on a blue card in a green booklet. 5 zero's in the middle.

Don't have an LTE device to test it on, so I don't mind if this isn't an LTE sim.

I just signed up for the $60 plan this evening. All I wanted was the micro SIM as I have a Galaxy Nexus right now (with plans to get the next iphone).

Going from the posts in this thread, the Koodo girl was going to give me one of the orange books, but I asked specifically if she had the blue booklet micro SIM's. She looked a little confused and said "I think these are for the LTE phones and I'm not sure if I can activate them yet cos we just got them in". Anyway, she went ahead and activated it fine.

My blue booklet was the same as Hardkores (microSIM3) and has the 4 zeros.

Thanks for sharing. Lol nice idea asking for the blue book. Funny how they understand or acknowledge that they're LTE sims.

That all seems like good proof to me... all I really need for confirmation is to find out of one of those people that were getting LTE reception let us know how many 0s they have.

Yes... would really appreciate if someone has the ability to confirm if those sims get LTE or not using the new $60 plan!

I think Koodoo's $60 plan fits my bill but would be a deal breaker if it didn't come with LTE using a LTE sim.

I'm very curious to know too! It would be a nice perk. Time to prep for my new iPhone.

Where in Kitchener did you test? I tried with my V3 SIM and an ipad 3 at Ottawa and Lackner and I was getting ~14Mb/s down and 3 up.
