I got my regular Sim card aprox. 2 months ago ... its white standart Sim card ,green brochure.
Im using Samsung Galaxy Note with Koodo.Since first day when I bought my phone I have been use Auto mode (GSM\HSPA/ LTE) ... and since end of July I got indicator LTE internet. Before it was just regular 4G.
I live near High park TO and have constantly LTE connection and LTE speed usually 32-40MB download and 10-14 upload. For instance near Dufferin Mall I dont have LTE just 4G...

I think as long as your phone supports LTE it doesnt matter what colour is your SIM card.Previously with my Iphone I had some issues and sales rep in two locations couldnt help me to resolve my problem so basicaly they know how to activate and how to sell new phones and what they can tell about LTE as they are not informed about new features of LTE.
What else I would like to mention about LTE : sometimes Im trying to open page in web browser but it says 403 Forbidden.... problem with some port... bla bla bla but the rest program like Skype,Speed Test,Facebook app works fine. Then I reboot my Phone and it helps but not always...I though its problem with my phone but I did research on telus site and found in FAQ same problem... I am getting a HTTP 403 error, why, what is it?
When you try to browse the Web, you may receive an error message beginning with “HTTP Error 403”. If this happens, try the following.
Ensure you have a Web feature
    Check signal strength
    Check the Web address
    Check coverage maps
Clear your browser's cache and cookies
    Restart your smartphone

So looks like they still brush LTE. I dont complain just express my opinion and
waiting official announce of LTE from Koodo

Are you using the Koodo proxy in your APN settings?

I suggest you remove the proxy from the APN settings. That should get things working.

However, leave the proxy info for the MMS settings as those are still needed.

I have a different experience. I put a Rogers sim card into an LTE compatible phone and it finds LTE networks for Rogers, Bell, and Telus in a manual network scan. I tried a Koodo sim card in the same phone and the Telus/Koodo network wasn't detected.
