The wife and I are going to New York and Atlantic City next month and I was wondering if anyone has used their phone and gotten a sim card from T mobile and used their payby the day plans?
This is what I have done almost free with minor inconvenience.
Communicate with your buddies mainly with text. Receiving text with your wind phone is free anyway.
Ask all your buddies to install WhatApp from Google play. And when you need to text them you may get over to many of the wifi places (McDonald/Panera Bread/homes) and text back with your WhatApp.
As a last resort, talking over the phone is only 25 cents/minute which is entirely manageable.
