Thread: can NOT jb i4S with redsn0w - factory unlocked i4S with 5.1.1

    can NOT jb i4S with redsn0w - factory unlocked i4S with 5.1.1

    I got an error msg "service wouldn't start (3986)" after redsnow "backing up the device", then stop.
    The previous version of redsnow(win) 0.9.12b1 display message "error 2000" . Today the latest version of redsnow came out but displayed "service wouldn't start (3986)" again.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    just found out I have the wrong tool for jb i4s, from www.iclarified.com . I am using Absinthe 2.0.1 to do the job. Well done ! Thanks to iclarified !

    it probably would have worked if you had the latest version of RedSn0w... Absinthe works just fine though.
