LG900G died. How to get phone numbers out of it?

My son's Net10 LG 900g died. It only gives the LG symbol on startup screen with circling arrows.

Is there any way to get the phone numbers stored out of it, such as on the SIM? I could not access it with the USB cable.

Does anyone have an idea what is wrong with this thing? It's the 2nd one to die on him. The previous one died about 9 months earlier.

I tried for help on Net10's forum. They respond but the forum won't let me reply to a private message. I tried again posting and it does the same thing for the 2nd message. Welcome to Net10 customer care. grin.

Already switched phone number to an Android phone. But would like the phone list out of it.

    Thanks!

First see if you can fix the phone. While the phone is on, remove the battery. Then it will have to reboot from scratch instead of from a corrupted shutdown. Like when you have to kill your computer by pressing the power button when the computer freezes, instead of using the normal shutdown.

If the address book was on the sim card, you can use a sim card reader to transfer the information to a computer for later use.

SOP for a privates message reply is to post five times. Yes, it sounds like a waist of time to do it that way. May be one of the someone has some insight as to why it was establish this way.

With respect to the LG 900, we have two have not experience the either of them dying. Maybe they changed the firmware? Your question is a good one, please share when you catch Net10 ear.

I had a PM from Net10 rep. But a week and more later still no response from them. The person said they would tirelessly use their technology to try to recover. Said they would call me. It sounds like they thought they would call on the dead phone to use some software to fix it????????

Phone number has been moved to another phone. I gave rep my home number. NO CALL.
