Exclamation Google Voice number took over my text messaging! Help

I use my regular cell phone # for friends & family and my Google Voice number for business. Now when I text with the standard ICS messenger app it's sending texts with my business number.

I needed it to stop so I went into the google voice app and I logged out of my account. I've restarted a couple times and my phone is STILL sending texts with my business number! I don't want to, but if I don't fix this quick, it looks like I'll be forced to do a full wipe and no longer use GV. Why did this happen and is this a setting I can change back?

If they are also using GV, there's a setting that automatically changes your other number to your GV number. You can turn it off if you go through your settings online. If you replied to a text that they sent to your GV number (and forwarded to your regular number), that will also make it come from your GV number. If it's not one of those, go through the GV app settings and make sure it's NOT set to use the standard texting app. Hopefully, that would keep your regular texts and your GV texts separate.

Go into Google Voice app and into Settings. Then click Sync and Notifications > Receive text messages. Change this to 'Via the Google Voice app'.
