Sprint 14 day Trial

Hi i recently got the nexus with 2 year contract with sprint an im planing on returning it before the 14 day trial period cus of the weak coverage. I was just wondering since i payed for the insurance an it covers lost or theft.. I can just pay the deductible for a replacement an still get out of the contract with in the 14 days??

if you report it lost or stolen, they will put a lock on the esn number and dont forget that it will cost you a 100.00 or more to replace the phone with the new tier insurance charge.
