Are all users going to be forced onto shared plans, or will there still be individual plans?

So lets see...
Right now I have 3 iphones and 2 basic phones on 1400min + unlimited text plan.
$120 (5 lines) + $30 Unl msg + $90 Data plan (2 granfathered and 1 on 2GB) = $240/month before my 20% discount.
If I would switch to the new plans
$120 (3 iphones) + $60 (2 basic phones) + $70 4GB = $250/month.
Obviously not savings for me in there as the unlimited voice is just useless and in my plan we barely go over 800 min. I'll wait and see how the corporate discount on my plan will work and how at&t data share will work as well.
Are all users going to be forced onto shared plans, or will there still be individual plans?

Boycott phones that lack microSD storage!

The plans are totally outrageous. I cannot see anyway it would benefit either my and my wifes plan or my parents plan both would result in huge price increases. I have the 1400 talk/text family plan with two lines of unlimited data which should be $180 but with my discount and the $10 per line data discounts I get it for $134 a month. Under the new plan it would be $180 for the same thing but only 10gb of data and no discounts. Does it seem as if they are trying to make the discounts go away? This new plan in no way benefits me. Next scenario my parents have a legacy plan which is the 550 family plan with two lines and $5 each for text plus they have the $20 unlimited home phone connect. They pay about $90 a month right now plus taxes. Under the new scenario it would be $50 base charge plus $30 plus $30 plus $30 which would be an outrageous increase of $50 per month. Wow verizon you really screwed things up good this time. I am particularly mad about the no subsidized upgrades which is why I guess its good I have a new razr maxx and a spare razr plus total equipment coverage on the account. I see major losses at verizon from this.
Verizon is shifting away from over pricing voice and text since its not in demand anymore to over pricing data. 40.00 for each smartphone line is reasonable since you get unlimited voice and text but 50.00 for 1GB of data, 60.00 for 2GB, and so forth is laughable.

Currently 2 lines with unlimited minutes and text would be $150 total, not $180. You are adding the $30 unlimited text feature twice. It would only be $120 plus $30 for the text, which covers every line on the account. So total if both lines were smartphones would be $210, not $240.
Employee discounts still work but only on the "Plan" portion, not the device add on prices. Spoke to CSR via chat.
At&t SGS III, LTE
I also chatted online and the rep said it would not apply because it is unlimited? Everything is also labeled as "access", not plan, so maybe that's how they are going to skirt any discounts. The only way I'd save money is if the discount applied to the entire amount. Even then, I would be giving up 4gb due to both lines having Double data.. For two lines: currently i have 700min/unlimited text/8gb for $142 or go for the new plan: unlimited min/text plus 4gb for $150. Not gonna bite on this parlor trick!

KEEP CALLING/SENDING EMAILS TO VERIZON TO COMPLAIN! I just called and spoke with a manager and he didn't even know of the changes untill he looked at them through the same screen we are looking at. He advised me to tell everyone to call and complain and agreed that this plan would NOT save the majority of people any money and cost additional. The ONLY people who will benefit from this plan are very limited data users of maybe 3-4 lines or someone who has a bunch of tablets. LETS KEEP CALLING AND TELLING THEM THIS ISN'T GOING TO WORK. He said he expects a change in the future with a ton of people calling and telling them they are going to switch.
I am curious about the discount thing too... But I won't bite because line 2 has no features enabled besides voice and will be ported out eventually.
I want to know whether I can keep the ability to pay for mobile hotspot when needed for $30 per month on top of my unlimited data plan? Or will that feature get stripped out? Sounds crazy, but this has worked out marvelous for me!

Keep grandfathered data on the two lines!! Mobile data use opportunities you and the other user on grandfathered unlimited are only going to increase and increase and increase. If you do any switching away you will have to either ignore these uses as high rent extravagances peeps who opted to keep unlimited get for free or your going to have to pay the high rent.
People who are already data centric users doing lots of streaming of radio and video and such are NEVER going to leave their grandfathered plans, but I predict LOTS AND LOTS of people not using much data TODAY are going to switch out of unlimited into limited and then discover some use down the road that eats up their data and kick themselves.
You would think they would attract buyers with attractive plans to gain more customers. These plans will not encourage anyone to switch over to verizon. I was hoping that they would be somewhat reasonable, my dad and mom were thinking about getting smartphones. After they see this I highly doubt they'll like this. Would increase the bill by $60. The data is extremely expensive! $50 for 1Gb? Comical. $30 for a feature phone? You kidding me?! Unbelievable.
Smartphone for $40 and minimum data charge of $50, add in insurance, fees, etc and you're easily over $100. No thank you, that's a really bad deal.
Any recently new announcements about Verizon offering family shared data plans?
