I have 2 lines with unlimited.
If I add a NEW line, will my 2 unlimited lines also have to go to the share unlimited plan?
No..........
I'm less worried about the new plans(at least for now) than I used to be. Verizon said I'm free to switch between the old plans with no issues and adding a line won't require going to the shared plan. They said no problem with keeping what I have even with an upgrade
Does anyone know if I can port my NUMBERS out, while keeping my unlimited lines for keeps?
I was thinking of doing this:
So it will be like this
A. 979-777-7771 (unlimited)
B. 979-777-7772(unlimited)
C. 979-Random (2GB)
D. 979-Random (2GB)
Perform a number swap with A and C
Perform a number swap with B and D
So it will be like this
A. 979-Random (unlimited)
B. 979-Random (unlimited)
C. 979-777-7771(2GB)
D. 979-324-7772(2GB)
Then, I port numbers C and D out. This will cancel lines C and D.
Now I am left with
A. 979-Random (unlimited)
B. 979-Random (unlimited)
Will this work?
can someone tell me how the corp discounts work on these plans? i'm on a 4 line AT&T family plan and might expand it to 7 lines if people want to go for it. i'll be looking at 7 iphone/android phones and 15GB of data. is the discount on the first line, all the access charges?
i have a discount on AT&T now and can get one on VZW as well and thinking of switching because the cost is about the same
It depends on your companies agreement with Verizon. My 20% is on data only with the new plan. My other old unlimited plan the discount is on everything.
I believe new customers (or old for that matter), who are go into the data pool plan (with unlm talk/text), get the discount off the cost of data. There is no discount for talk/text portion. I once had a link that showed the discounts but couldn't find it. Perhaps someone else can chime in.
Since those plans are no longer available, it's irrelevant really. On the new Share Everything plans, the discount comes off of the data portion only. As far as I know, ATTM still hasn't announced how they will do corporate discounts on the new share plans. So I'd hold off at least until after ATTM clarifies that.
We are acurerntly on a 700 mins shared plan with 4 lines ..
How is 240 $ better than our current bill of 186$ for 4 lines
Only 2 smartphones in plan and 2 reg phones . ( No data or texts)
What do we do??
I've seen the reports of people losing their unlimited data plan when doing a subsidized upgrade of their phone, but I could not find the answer to my question in this thread or elsewhere.
I wanted to find out if my wife would lose her cheap data plan if she upgraded. It seems as if this is possible.
Is this correct, that she can upgrade from her Blackberry to an iPhone and keep her current $15 data plan and calling plan, or will Verizon make her switch to one of the new Share Everything plans?
Thanks,
Ted
Since she is on a tiered data plan, she will not be required to switch to Share Everything if she uses a subsidized upgrade. If she had unlimited data, a subsidized upgrade would require her to either switch to a tiered data plan, and keep the existing voice plan, or switch to Share Everything.
I hate these new plans. They are screwing loyal customers over. If they do force us to switch, mightas well go to ATT since their sharable data rates are alot lower.
Any recently new announcements about Verizon offering family shared data plans?
