Lets Update The List.. Places To Get Discounted Boost Refills

I went to reBoost through callingmart.com and my order was cancelled and refunded minutes after it was placed. I called them on the phone to find out why. I was told that "Boost" no longer would accept re-boosts from vendors on the internet. They were no longer selling Boost - re-boosts. She said you would have to have a re-boost card in hand and enter the info to get a refill now. She told me this became effective today 12/31/11.

As per usual I got whacked with taxes and fees for my reboost that I had been lucky enough to avoid paying for the last three years. Guess all we do is wait for people to post any cards that go on sale or buy cards on eBay again. Remember you need the card in hand or at least the numbers to get the refill. No one can refill your account for you unless they pay by credit/debit card. I am still trying to locate anything about this on the Boost website but no luck as of yet.

I found a great website that offers huge discount on Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile. I have already used it a couple times and they seem pretty quick to refill. Only bad part, I did one refill at night and apparently they only process during business hours. The Web Site is boostmobilesav.com

Anyways, I refilled the $55 Boost refill for only $52.95, and the $50 refill for only $47.77. Some pretty good savings if you are like me and have to pay state tax and 911 tax, which they don't charge.

As wirelessRefiills.com as of this month has stopped offering any discount ( other then not charging tax) on Boost refill products I am looking for those companies that still do.

So lets get a "new" list going of companies still discounting the price.

I called www.boostmobilesav.com and they still give a small discount. And a small amount is still better then none. However on calling them, I found their phone reps not so great.

Anyone know of other sights that as of this month are still discounting?

Can you elaborate on the "not so great" portion of your post? No english? No comprende? Maybe I can get one of my foreign speaking friends to talk to them and make heads or tails of what they got. Seems that they're the only one that has any discounts going on. I used to get it from pincheap.com but they dried up too.

Are there any other sites. The best discount they give is $2 but only if you refill $65.

BTW, Target has cards for 5% off this week. If you have a Target credit card, that will give you 5% off in addition to the sale.

I'm curious as to which states tax these purchases and which do not. 10% off is pretty good when they go on sale especially when you could buy several months worth, depending on the refill's expiration date.

State of Oregon has no state tax. I was told by someone that if you autorefill you'll get charged state sales tax. But if you change your home address to somewhere in that state then you wont get charged sales tax on your refills. The CC billing address etc doesn't matter. A friend of mine tried that and it didn't work for him... YMMV.

I recall some saying they where not charged in CA. while others where.

Michigan charges 6% sales tax on refills.
I only buy the $10 refill every 90 days.
I have been using Wirelessrefills.com.
They stopped offering discounts on Boost refills but do not charge sales tax so I will still use their service.
I don't need to leave the house to get my account refilled and saving 60 cents in sales tax is better than a Sharp stick in the eye.
Last time I ordered they did give me 20 cents off my $10 refill because I had ordered from them a few times before.
My loyalty bonus I guess.
I had never gotten to use any bonuses with CallingMart even though I had been with them for a few years.

I also lost a tone of "points" I had with Calling mart. Almost enough for a $50.00 card... So, I will never recommend them. Last I heard they have done nothing to "apologize for "boost Customers" kind of getting cut off.

I live on the Border of California, Arizona, and Nevada. Before switching to buying online ( no tax, and I do not need to leave the house), I would buy refills in Nevada. I was always hit with tax in California and Arizona. I know my freind in Los Angeles get hit with sales tax on refills he buys at Best Buy, on his paygo type account. But he only uses that phone as a back up, so he does about 20.00 a year on it.
