Yes, it was you, lol. I'm in a very small minority.
GSM, I really think that even in CT the shift toward Verizon being better would be in place with LTE. I know that it's simpler to be on the GSM evolutionary path. Part of the reason I left AT&T was that I tired of waiting for them to be in line with GSM services on the other parts of Planet Earth from a quality of service perspective. When VoLTE hits VZW will be pretty close to being fully GSM. They'll be GSM in the way Bell and Telus is, with GSM (LTE) networks overlaid over the existing CDMA networks.
I think VZW waited for the right time to jump.
Fiber backhaul for Verizon in Southern Illinois in 2013 - about time.
Vz seems to be on the ball with the upgrades. When I started to get burned out on 3G speeds, 4g was already knocking on my door.
I usually support government regulation, but It is unfortunate that the government over-regulated and killed the AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger
The best explanation of the pricing nutiness in the industry.
Why Sprint and T-Mo will always suck.
The only way to end the pricing insanity is to eliminate contracts and subsidies.
I want Wifi calling on AT&T.
If you text while driving, you're an idiot. End of story.
You are so off in your opinion. The decision for a wireless solution needs to be based on your needs, not someone else's idea of some kind of invalid reasoning. But, I can understand why you do it. I would never in a million years would of thought about buying a 5.3 inch monster, but after trying one I found it to be very good at what I need a wireless device to do.
Verizon and ATT, in my case don't yet have a similar lineup, only ATT has the Samsung Note with it's ease of data entry not found on any other device, while not being an unruly tablet. Have one of them too.
And where have you been, I'm the original ATT hater you dudes are quickly to point out wrongfully.
Of course, they have a different name for it--"consolidation". You remember even Seiderberg was in favor of the acquisition.
Been on ATT since before Cingular because of the the ability to use International devices via SIM cards.
I don't need LTE as #G dls are fast enough for the little carrier data I use. We are on WiFi 90% or more of the time using OTA services. Until I can replace my home cable Internet with LTE I will stay on the less expensive MediaNEt plan and buy our phones used as we have. Since the Captivate was the last ATT phone we used. When ATT upped their data we decided to switch to the much better International devices. Before that we used International Nokias. Got the iPhone 3GS just to sell as people were paying $600 for them. I tired it for a week and didn't like it, especially after seeing an Android.
Haven't used my ITouch 4 since getting the SGS II. sits on some Ithingy alarm clock I don;t use on the night stand.
