I have an old original Droid X that I want to give to my friend because she broke her phone. Problem is, I had it activated on PP with just a text plan (more or less just because I'm a phone geek and I was playing around with with ROMS on it), but will she be able to activate it on VZ Postpaid if I recently had it active on PP? I don't want to tell her I have a phone she can use unless I know it's going to work.

I don't think the line is active on PP anymore, so I can't really ESN swap a burner over to that line without reactivating it, and I don't want to waste the money. I guess I was just wondering if there's some kind of waiting period before the ESN is cleared out of the system?
