That means it rolling out to the general public.. The people who generally receive it first are "Soak Testers" for Motorola.. Since I'm not a "Soak Tester" it must be rolling out to the general public now.

I think you can ignore the update. I've had this Bionic since launch day and I've had all sorts of problems with the Hotspot.. Would connect for a few minutes and then dump me off.. So far this update has been better but it still dumps me off.. I have to turn off hotspot and turn back on to get it to connect to internet again.. So sick of this phone because of that.. Escalated tech support acknowledges problems with the hotspot due to the WPA2 PSA not working right on motorola phones.. She thought this S/W update would take care of it.. Well I'm here to report that it's better but I'm still dropping hotspot connections between devices..

I've been having data drop issues recently on my phone and while this update was supposed to fix it as far as I can tell it only got worse. Verizon tech support finally let me upgrade as this is my 3rd Bionic and come Thursday I'll be on a RAZR. Hopefully that phone is at least a little better!

I don't know what's going on but I have lost 3g about 3 times in the past week since I updated; hadn't happened before. Should always leave well enough alone.
