EVO V 4g and no BT HID support! will root access help?

I have a pretty specific problem and I'm wondering where to start fixing it:

I'm having a lot of trouble pairing my onlive bluetooth controller and I have read some forums stuff regarding htc sense and its general lack of bluetooth human input device (BT HID) support. Some say that rooting the EVO 3D and installing an ICS rom that has BT HID support solved it, but we already have ICS!!!!!!!

Are there any roms with BT HID support?

Are there any roms with BT HID support that are working for the EVO V?
is there an app on the market that can do it?
Is there a way to get the HTC View BT stack into the EVO V?

there is a vid of an EVO 4g with a custom ICS rom doing it

there is also another vid of Onlive CEO Steve Pearlman doing at a tradeshow:

How do I do that????!!!!? The EVO 4g isn't supported by the controller, yet he is demoing it on an unsupported phone?
