Isn't that the case with all subsidized smartphones?
Earl F. Parrish
You can get the $20 300 megabyte data plan if you wish. If you have the unlimited Smartphone Data Plan, it is $30. If you have tiered data plans, there are varying prices depending upon when you signed up.
250 megabytes for $15
300 megabytes for $20
2 gigabytes for $25
3 gigabytes for $30
The carrier initially puts you on the $30 data plan but you can switch to the $20 data plan if you do not use a lot of data. At that tier, one kilobyte over the 300 megabytes will cost you $20 more for 300 more megabytes. It would cost less for 3 gigabytes than it would for 600 megabytes under the lower tier.
