Most phones use the same 3.6/7 volts, with differing capacities. Samsung/Anycall batteries are often interchangable, even with between phones from Japan/USA/Korea. Though a bit of a long shot, they could fit. Often when I have a phone with no batteries, must do something.
Hahaha ^ That reminds me of how I managed to get an SH906i battery working in an SH902i, of course this takes it to the next level. I could fit the top part to where to connectors touched but the bottom of the battery was facing upwards out of the phone.. So I had to just hold it there. XD Oh well, just needed to check the contents atm.
It's probably not fit for daily usage, but if you need a battery and don't have one on hand, this is a good alternative. Probably better to ask someone in Hong Kong or Japan to mail you some.
Alright, it is irking me so I have to clear this up for you. The reason why it is only 80mAh larger is because more mAh takes up more physical space. They added as much mAh as the size of the battery can hold without adding in a replacement back cover.
Ever see those knockoff batteries on eBay that are 1000mAh or more larger than the original? Well, most people will tell you that the actual capacity is the same or even less than the stock battery because it is physically impossible to create a larger capacity battery without making the physical dimensions of the battery larger as well. Any replacement battery for the SH-06D/01D will not be realistically larger than the stock. Also, the SH-01D/06D batteries are interchangeable because they have the same dimensions and capacity, so essentially the same exact battery.
So the 1900mAh battery you mentioned above will not fit your phone, otherwise Sharp would have put in a larger battery near that size. Hopefully you'll understand that in order to use the phone without doing mods like in the picture above ^ (which is not recommended because you might wind up shorting something and I'm sure registered99 wasn't trying to show this as a capable alternative, not too mention the inconvenience) you will have to stick with either the stock or Mugen. Research is encouraged before buying the phone you want so you can expect and deal with any shortcomings.
I researched the SH-06D thoroughly before purchase, awesome phone for the price!!
The SH-09D is thinner than the 06D, so it's still possible the battery might fit.
I can guarantee it won't fit, why? I already stated why in the earlier post but it has alot to do with the fact that they are simply different phones with different dimensions, like the Galaxy SIII with it's battery and the SH-06D and it's battery; they won't fit because they are different phones. Just trying to help before you go out and buy batteries that won't fit.
I wonder if the 1900mAh battery from the SH-09D will fit into the SH-06D?
The 01D and 06D batteries are interchangeable, so I'm hoping this is the case!!
Difficult to tell, the SH-09D isn't available yet. But I doubt it, making three phones, of different collections, with the same battery... hardly any chance.
