HTC Amaze™ 4G will work on fido 3G network

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if the HTC Amaze™ 4G from mobilicity will work on fido-rogers 3G HSPA network.

    Thanks!

May work on EDGE - but not in 3G network. Not the same frequency. There are two versions of it.

Galaxy Nexus will work on all GSM networks as far as I know.
I'm not telling you anything that you can't just google for yourself

Little confusing... it says GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS1700/2100/AWS, UMTS2100, 1900, 850. For sure EDGE will work on FIDO/ROGERS but it also says UMTS2100, 1900, 850 no AWS.

Where are you getting the info from? If it's on the box, I guess its possible. If it's from GSM Arena
    http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_amaze_4g-4097.php

Then likely there are two versions of the phone. The Galaxy Nexus is pentaband and shows like this on GSM Arena
    http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_nexus-4219.php

The - hm... - Blackberry Bold, for example, has two versions and shows up like this
    http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_b..._9900-3116.php

Or, one that relates more to your questions, the HTC WildfireS - 2 versions
    http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_wildfire_s-3777.php

With the Wildfire, I know for a fact that this is accurate as I actually own a UK one that's the one version but Virgin has one here that runs on 850

    Cheers

The Amaze sold in Canada is one model, all carriers. It supports four HSPA bands: 850, AWS, 1900, 2100.

So yes your Mobi Amaze will work on Fido. Have fun.

Yes. As a test try logging into CDN Roaming 3G

    Vancouver confirmed?

I am wondering if this is confirmed as well that it will work on 3G/Fido once unlocked? I am going to be passing a mobi dealer this morning.

    Thanks
