AT&T is offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 in 16 GB internal storage only while all other service provider offer the S3 in 16 OR 32 GB.Why is AT&T not offering the 32 GB model? Source http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=3801
Gotta make money some kinda way. They're only human.
You'd think the 32 GB would net them more money since the extra 16 GB of storage costs less than the $50 they're charging. Higher capacities are always margin builders. Maybe they decided that not enough people would go for it, I don't know.
Either way it doesn't matter, instead of paying $50 extra just put down $20 for a 32 GB card and have 48 GB total.
Yeah. My thoughts exactly. I think you can add up to a 64GB SD(XC?) card, which nets you 80GB of storage. So it's not like the iPhone where you actually need it.
The SIII looks so nice and buttery with ICS and LTE and everything, I just wish they would make a normal-sized (3.5") version of it. It's too freakin' huge!
I usually support government regulation, but It is unfortunate that the government over-regulated and killed the AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger
The best explanation of the pricing nutiness in the industry.
Why Sprint and T-Mo will always suck.
The only way to end the pricing insanity is to eliminate contracts and subsidies.
I want Wifi calling on AT&T.
If you text while driving, you're an idiot. End of story.
While it's looking like the SIII has antenna-gate issues it will sell, Samsung's "model for every carrier" is paying off I believe it will be the standard. Manufactures increase their cost when they do this, but for them it pays off. This could be the same reason why att didn't go with several SKU's and got a better price.
Samsung having antenna issues? Oh the terror. They have antenna problems in like half their phones that can't get service. Is this one Infineon or Qualcomm?
AT&T probably figured they'd have low demand, with the lower capacity model they can keep SKU's down, keep the price they are showing on the website down, and up-sell their accessories, which they make a killing off of.
What happened to Samsung Galaxy??
