One thing about getting an old number

I know someone else had this number before me since a womans name comes up on the caller ID of whatever number I call.

But this woman had literally signed up to receive text messages from every spamming company there is. I go a day and get no less then 10 texts from companys or spammers promoting something and its annoying to say the least.

Are you using an Android phone? If yes, then you can install this app to block text messages.

Keep in mind though that it's free for 15 days and then you have to pay $5 for the full version.

There are also other apps in the Play Store when you type in "spam blocker" or "text blocker".

I re ommend "Blacklist Free" because you can regex to specify blocked numbers.

Sometimes all you have to do is reply back to the text saying "stop" and if will remove you from the list ... stop, without the quotes of course
