    Few questions about Telus billing

    Hello

I was reading my bill and I came across few questions

    1. If my billing cycle is June 12 to July 12 , does the billing start from 12 am June 12 to July 11 midnight ?l ocal time ?

2 The bil said I had 128mb of " data usage mobile high speed" and 5.5 gb of normal "data usage", what is the difference?

    3. What is mobile to mobile ?

Thank you very much for answering!

    Not local but GMT time.

Mobile to mobile is calls to other people on your account. Some call it family calling.

We think everyone should be able to afford a wireless phone. That's why we were the first wireless company in North America to offer pay-by-the-second airtime, and why we don't charge an activation fee. NO scary contract to sign. Immediate national coverage. And a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Yes, it's finally time to get a wireless phone.

    2. Did you tether at all? Or pop your SIM into a different device that would use a different APN?

On number 2 you really need to go view your detailed usage details online to figure it out. The bill is a summary of that info so it's best to go look at the day by day full detailed usage if you need more info.

You go into your account https://www.telusmobility.com/youraccount
First pick your phone if you have more than 1 on the account from the top right.
    Click on Usage
    click on data usage
Then click on the date to open up the detailed info for that day. It shows the total and type of each data session on that date.

Yes, I used a lot of tethering in fact most of the data usage were tethered to my iPad. I am surprised only 128mb of it were captured?
