iPhone on ERP line?

Hey guys,

I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone (the ERP team included) about whether or not an iPhone is allowed on ERP lines. I've got an unsubsidized iPhone that I would like to put on an ERP account, but no one knows whether or not it will be allowed on the plan.

Anyone have experience with this? Again, this phone hasn't been subsidized, so it's not like I need to finish out a contract or anything on it.

For the longest time I would have said NO. Only specific really old models of the iPhone were allowed and only ones purchased through a promotion they did to clear stock. I even heard of people getting in trouble when caught using an iPhone on the line...

But this month they changed all of that..ERP can now buy unsubsidized phones from a COR store just like anyone else [Source: Ralph's webcast] (assume that includes any current version of the iPhone as well) for use on their line..so I don't see how you couldn't bring in your own iphone now.

That's what I would think, but I was just hesitant because the ERP site still says that it's not permitted. Seems ridiculous. I might try to ask around more outside the ERP team and see if they can change it.

The only recent changes I know to erp is you can purchase phones in the store which wasn't really a change. You've always been able to do it as the erp site hasn't been updated in years and they would tell you to go to a store to buy a phone. I don't see any changes to iPhone policy. Iphones are not allowed unless it's the 3G model.

Erp websites states this and they will suspend the line if you do have it on there.

Pssh, in this area if you went to the COR stores (only 3 of them within a 2 hour drive) with an ERP account you were shut up and out faster than you could get your whole story out.

That's dumb as opus had a erp price list and cap even had it documented that employees could buy them. Should of just pointed to that link of they gave you issues
