    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.3; en-gb; HTC Sensation 4G Build/IML74K) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

IPhone 3g 4.2.1 baseband 6.15.00 unlocked and jailbroken
    IPad 2 5.0.1 jailbroken

Is there any way to fix the GPS?

Anybody tried the sn0wbreeze 2.9.5 GPS fix?

The only way to fix GPS, requires a baseband downgrade, stay tuned, it should be released today in a revised Redsn0w version. If your iPhone 3G has bootloader 5.8, I think you can downgrade the baseband as well.

The fix in Sn0wbreeze 2.9.5 is just the absent need to disable location services at initial setup of IOS 5(for iPad baseband users), like Redsn0w implemented months ago.

Doing what same thing? To get GPS function back, you must downgrade the iPad baseband using Redsn0w 9.14b1

Need more details... Is it the GSM or CDMA iPad 2? What are the symptoms? The wifi only iPad doesn't have GPS and would require a external bluetooth GPS device, either using a officially supported one or using jailbreak tweaks like RoqyBT and BTstack GPS along with any external bluetooth GPS. Most apps don't get a GPS satellite fix as fast on the iPad as you might with the iPhone, it takes some time and needs to be outdoors to work. The wifi only iPad can be tethered to a iPhone 4 or newer to share GPS data for functional GPS usage on the iPad. For the iPhone 3G, you could install TryGPSout cydia tweak to share it's GPS data over bluetooth, then install RoqyBT or BTstack GPS cydia tweak on the wifi only iPad to connect and get the GPS data from the iPhone 3G over bluetooth.

Btstack GPS is not free, so that's not a option for people without a credit card or just don't wanna pay...roqybt is not for ios5 only work for ios4, so the only option is roqybt4 but it doesn't work at all, can't paired, plus on top of that it clearly say it won't work with external device unless u have a license

Any other app beside these two that you've mention?

So apparently you have a wifi only iPad 2, eh? Thanks for making me guess... /sigh

There are no other options beyond what I have mentioned. I doubt it will work, but you can try PDAnet or MyWi adhoc wifi hotspot to see if GPS data gets passed from the iPhone 3G to iPad 2, like it does with the iPhone 4 or newer using infrastructure wifi hotspot. RoqyBT4 works with IOS5, but you must pay to use as well. Otherwise, if you want to use an officially supported bluetooth GPS you must pay the premium(2-3 times the cost of a regular bluetooth GPS) to do so. Now, compare the cost of those high priced options to the cost of RoqyBT and BTstack GPS, it is a small price to pay($5-6) to get the functionality you desire. I am sure there are ways to use these tools for free, but how do you expect the dev's to survive IOS updates without some flow, these are not big corp projects that can afford mass piracy. If you care to see these tools exist in the future, stop using the no CC excuse, pretty sure your local market has prepaid cards.
