Thanks, but I'll prob just sell the e71 with its sim try to make a profit since I won't be using it then. And just get a BYOP sim

As long as you do it right in selling the e71 then you win either way lol!

Now the question is 4s or nexus?

    John,

Is there a way to use the iPhone Configuration Utility (ICU) to view the detailed settings of an installed configuration profile? I'm trying to figure out how to get Onavo working with my ATT MNVO settings. I currently have both an unlockit.co.nz and an Onavo profile installed, and I manually edited settings under Cellular Data Network on my jailbroken phone. I would really like to see what's in the proxy field. Is the only way to clear the proxy field actually to install a newly-created configuration profile with the proxy server/port fields blank? Should I remove the unlockit.co.nz profile first, and then install the new profile, or install the new profile on top of the other two?

Thanks for any help you can provide. If there are any others out there who have any experience in getting Onavo to work with an ATT MVNO, please post.

Got the Galaxy Nexus unlocked version and its was rather easy getting those APN fields entry since the phone its so open. But getting the same speed as iphone more or less thought I would be getting hsdpa instead of normal 3G speeds.

    Anyone can comment on this?

Maybe I should go test out on a 4G phone to see if i'll get faster than 6mbps down

Which iPhone did you have before? The iPhone 4S is capable of 14.4mbps down and you generally won't be able to get more than 7-8mbps on ST. If you had a 4, its capable of 7.2mbps down and about 4-5 in the real world. Both are HSDPA nonetheless.

If your getting the same speeds, I'd say its likely due to your local towers, whether its congested or doesn't have fast backhaul. Have you tried late at night (past midnight) with full bars? But in ajy case 6mbps is near the top end for ST.

I had the 4 before, and I been getting slower speeds on the nexus though and noticed browsing on it uses way more bandwidth than iPhone .. Today been horrible mobilespeedtest.com and speedtest app on iphone 4 and Nexus have been sad to report.

Anyone here getting better speeds with T-Mo ST sim than ATT ST sim ?

I got throttled again yesterday but they unthrottled me when I called. Today was my renewal date anyways. I'd used just a little over 2gb.
At least they unthrottled me this time and I didn't have to buy a new sim again and lose my number.

RobNYC, I used to see you over in the Metro forum, yes?

I'm coming to Straight Talk too, with a two unlocked Galaxy Nexus for me and my wife.

You'll like it. But upgrade to Jelly Bean and flash a newer radio/RIL so you don't have random data drop problems.

Yea I did that already, did the XXLF1 baseband too (radio) its much better on battery than the 4.0.4 ICS it came with.
