Question about ending/closing account/number

I bought a sim/phone on the walmart $30 plan just to try T-mobile in my area. After testing it out, is there a quick way of closing/ending the account/number or do I just have to wait until T-Mobile closes it for inactivity.

Just stop using it and the account will be closed eventually.
You could call them I suppose and have them close the account but just not using it, it will eventually just be closed automatically, probably in 90 days.
But maybe sooner with that plan.
