    Droid A855 won't make/take calls

    I'll start by apologizing for being a newbie and needing help so soon into my PP adventure. I'd appreciate any guidance as I've searched but not found a straightforward answer.

    I bought a new moto droid A855 from ebay for my son, was able to go to pp, register the MEID HIX # and get a phone#, then turn on the phone and successfully activate that # on the phone. Problem is... I can't make or receieve a call- it rings once/twice then makes a beep beep beep sound and ends the call. I can however text and hit my wifi. Any ideas? I am by no means super techie, but I can follow setp by step instructions ;-)

    If you used a dealer to activate, contact the dealer for help. Or you can call PPC CS for help. Hopefully they will be able to fix it. If not, suggest an ESN reset. If that doesn't work, I've heard of cases where phones have been registered with two phone numbers, which of course causes problems. Good luck.

    How is your signal strength on Verizon? Do you have the phone set to Home Service only? Is there a dollar balance on the account?

    Also if you have a network extender, is the phone on the edge of its range when this happens?

    Thanks for the advice. The signal strength on out verizon phones was fine, ther was $ in the account, etc so I went ahead and contacted ppc and after the rep had me power ift off for 5 min while he did something on his end, it worked upon powering up. Who knew it could be that easy!
