The otterbox is your best friend when it comes to iPhones.
Otherwise i believe theres this Casio G'(something) android phone that seems rugged.

My question is that I'm thinking about upgrading and getting an iPhone 4s phone but I'm kinda not sure if I want too or not reason being I'm not very good at handling phones. I have butterfingers so I'm pretty much a lot of times dropping my phone. So If I was to get an iPhone 4s, I would be afraid to drop and break it after paying all that money for one. So I'm looking at and have been reading the reviews on the Motorola Barrage and so far the reviews seem good. But I'm wanting some 2nd opinions from anyone on the Verizon forums who has had a Motorola Barrage or currently has and uses one. How is it? Do you get good signal/reception on it? Any missed or drop calls? What about clarity, is it clear? Please let me know and any other helpful info on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

If you get the iPhone make sure you get an otterbox for it, the deffender series is best for drops, I have seen them dropped in mud on ATVs and off a 200ft tower by the tower techs and the iPhone is still rockin.
My dad has a Casio phone thats very rugged and gets good reception and sounds good. Ill have to lookup the model on his phone, but it works fine for him.
Like everybody says, a good case is your best friend.
Doesn't Apple offer some type of insurance of their own?
The casio commando, which I had for awhile would be a rugged choice. It runs android GB. A very sturdy phone. They also have some other types running more plain(dumb phone)operating systems. Casio makes a good phone IMHO. It has it's purposes.
Other than that get the iphone or other and just get a good case as has been suggested.
