How do you refill your Straight Talk phone?

What is the cheapest and best way to refill your Straight Talk phone. 1. Online? 2. Purchase them at Wal-mart.
I am wanting to know just how to avoid any fees, taxes, ect. that might go along with the refills.

I buy them off Walmart.com - they email you the code usually within the hour.

Experience will vary from state to state, but for me (in California), I get charged some recovery fee at StraightTalk.com, but nothing (not even taxes) at Walmart.com. I imagine buying in-store would cause sales tax to be added?

depending on the phone you use you can enter the service code on your phone. i log on to the straight talk website and add them in my account. i find it easier to enter the long code.

Ya I went to Walmart.com and put in my Georgia address and was going to be charge an extra .75 fee. But then i went in and put in a bogus California address and no .75 fee. Just $45.00.

I buy the 3-month card at Walmart.com. It saves a few dollars each month. Then when i get email with code, I copy from email and paste on ST website. Then i only have to deal with it once every 3 months. And yes, if you add a shipping address in California or Oregon (or a few other states that escape me at the moment), then they won't charge sales tax or any fees.

Ya, this is a neat loophole to know, but I am sure at some point it will be closed. But I may very well be going to ST next year.

I'm on NET10. I buy a refill card every month. Every day or two I search ebay for a new card. Toward the beginning of my month I look for $34 or less, toward the end of the month I'm willing to go up to $40. My cheapest month so far has been $31.99 and my highest was $36.99

Either way, almost $100 cheaper than the cheapest Verizon Smartphone plan.

like others have said, ebay is the cheapest, but i just wanted to add that when you buy a $45 unlimited card from walmart in the store, at least in california, there's no sales tax or fees added.
