That's my assessment also. I'm mostly waiting to be sure the S3 development milieu embraces the GN2 neatly, then I'll probably follow suit.
Any thoughts what a nib S3 might fetch as an xmas purchase?

Here's John's comparison review between the DNA and Note 2, just keep in mind the Note 2 used was an AT&T model, but would be similar hardware to the Verizon one (besides the CDMA/radio).

I'd rather just have a spare standard battery for a heck of a lot cheaper and not add any bulk to the phone (as well as be able to use normal cases and docks).
