Looks like there is a Samsung Intensity III on the horizon. Let's hope they give it a better camera with video capabilities this time.

It may be on their site, but none of the stores have it for store pick up, and the option to have it shipped is greyed out. My guess is BB doesn't have any in stock.

Available on Verizons website under Basic Phones. It's a pretty generic looking device, but this is interesting: "meets mil-spec 810F for shock, vibration, radiation, water, sand, and dust ingress, and salt fog".

The manual says the maximum camcorder resolution is 320x240.

Regarding the memory card, the orientation is contacts-side facing down. I mention that because the manual for the relatively recently released Casio Ravine 2 shows that the memory card should be inserted with the contacts-side facing up. So I thought that was going to be the memory card orientation for all future Verizon non-smartphones.

I wonder how long it'll be before we know how reliable this phone is. Right now I found just one review on the internet at verizonwireless.com

I read that it's free at Fry's Electronics, I saw that it's free right now at Walmart.com, it's still $ 49.99 at Bestbuy.com, and Verizon recently dropped the price by $ 30
