will atrix 4g mb860 work with 3g on fido?

There seem to be some good prices floating around at the moment for the unlocked at&t atrix 4g (mb860) & I was wondering about network compatibility with fido. I purchased a motorolla cliq a while back as a cheap option to try out android, however after entering the apn details (and trying a bunch of other things) I could only get data on the edge network. I looked the cliq up on gsmarena at the time, & the bands seemed to match up for me, but I guess only in terms of 2g.

I'd rather not get burnt shelling out for an atrix if its only going to run edge network; not much point having a dual core processor if you're only going to have slow as hell internet. Apparently I'm not allowed to post direct links, but if you want to look the specs up on gsmarena, I just searched for mb860 & it was the first result

If someone could please tell me yes/no for 3g, and additionally if there are any other potential compatibility concerns I should be aware of. I'm pretty technically minded, so an explanation of why would be welcome - as I would like to be able to figure this sort of stuff out by myself. Also, this phone is actually 3g right in terms of data? Not 4g as its name might suggest?

Yes it will work (3g) on fido, just make sure it is unlocked Att atrix.
