    best smart phone lincoln, ne

so I'm finally ditching t-mobile and it's horrid service
I want to get a sim card plan and an unlocked gsm phone

so far talking to straighttalk and virgin mobile I don't seem to get any joy as to what solution I should get...my concern is that if I get an unlocked gsm phone I won't be able to get service in lioncoln

I think I can get a Nopkia 701 and a straight talk sim as this would put me on att&t yet I don't really know how good att's service in lincoln, ne is...

is there any options for getting an unlocked phone which uses a verizon service (of course I don't want to go to verizon direct as they are $90/m)

    thx

You can use most old Verizon 3G phones on Page Plus. Former contract Verizon phones are not locked, but they can be blacklisted ("Bad ESN") if the previous owner didn't pay the bill.

If you want a "SIM" your only choice is AT&T or T-Mobile or one of their MVNO's. If you can't use AT&T or T-Mobile in Lincoln (or do you have to spell it lincoln?) you're out of luck as far as service.
