Last year I upgraded my verizon data usb key to a small credit-card sized box that I can use to give my blackberry and laptop a wifi connection through my verizon data plan.
For Bell I still have my old USB Data Key. I've never had a need to a mobile wifi hotspot. Laptop has the key, cellphone uses the data network, until now.
I've recently been given a non-mobile enabled iPad, and I am trying to find out if Bell offers; or if someone know's if there is a mobile hotspot that I could buy and replace my data stick with it.
I see that Rogers offers one, Telus offers one. I know Bell used to offer one, but there was some defect and a recall with them.
Has anybody heard of anything being released soon, or if there is another device that will work on the Bell network that I can buy and activate??
Any Android Device running 2.2 and up has the hot spot option. The only thing is you have to keep it plugged in to a power outlet or cigratte ligher becuase if you don't your battery will be dead with in 45 minutes to an hour.
