Wow... looking to get a new basic phone

Never thought I would say it, but I am looking to find a good basic phone for my daughter. Given the current data pricing and the new plans that were announced, a smartphone is not in her near future, or at least until she starts babysitting. With that, I though I'd ask the experts again for their thoughts.

She will be texting like crazy and would like a slide out keyboard like the intensity or cosmos. I'm sure she will want to listen to music as well as take good pictures and maybe video. I know I'm asking for a lot in a basic phone. I can't imagine a lot of engineering goes into these phones nowadays, but I do want to try and get her the best basic phone I can without her friends teasing her too much.

Anyway, any thoughts or suggestions?

The Intensity 3 is due out (sometime), so you may want to wait fir it. Not sure what differences there are between it and the Intensity 2.
