I wonder if it will be restocked at all. Walmart probably got the last and ST moved on. Verizon came out with that $80 prepaid deal in walmart that uses the same phone I think. The way they market inside walmart makes it hard to guess where they will stock them. The new zip was spotted in NH? They don't usually muck around if they are gonna sell something.
$80 phone plan vs $45 plan same phone.
My nearest Wal Mart hasn't had them yet.
I am new to this is it foolish to buy this on ebay for more money than it cost in walmart
Not if you want a smartphone for $45 a month. Normal supply and demand. Just wait until you feel confident its gone from regular channels. I noticed Walmart got the same phone in a verizon package for prepaid $80 per month. The proclaims kinda like gold...until and if the zip gets distributed. Specs are possibility better on the proclaim.
I live in Phoenix and my local store says it has them online. As others have said, I'm sure this is just a simple supply and demand issue. I know ST has sold out of phones for a while and I remember Virgin selling out of popular phones at times.
It happens on prepaid it seems and I'm sure as more people flock to saving money - we'll see it happen again. I hope we see it more so we see more competition (handsets, plans, and pricing) due to getting more recognition.
you local store is wrong. out of stock on walmart.com.
After reading up about this phone I feel I got a deal. There are none in the walmarts in cailfornia even if the web site says in stock they are not there i went to all he stores (all gone) I don't think there are going to be back!! they sold for 4 $180 plus $20 for tax plus gas an still not find one I paid $240 with shipping to my door
They have that new lg android phone on verizon for my zip code, basically the optimus slide, but no proclaim

It would be nice to see a thread that defines and keeps a current list of the various ST phones and what carrier they run on. It's not very clear from ST's site which phone is associated with which carrier. I know they have some for VZW, ATT, and Sprint. Not sure about TMo.
I thought all the Androids but the Proclaim were on Sprint and ATT. Is there another 'droid on VZW now?
HSN has this phone for $129 + $50 for net 10 Monthly plan so $179 total

I know Walmart still has the Proclaim. One of the local Walmarts (Sayre, PA) had one Proclaim in stock last Thurs. As of yesterday (Mon.) they had four on the display.
There are a ton of proclaims in MN walmarts and IA walmarts...
Seems like their current stock distribution method wasn't very well thought out...
